When Tropical Storm Fred hit Western North Carolina in 2021, it turned my whole world upside down. I lost everything—my home, my belongings, the precious gifts and memories my mother gave me before she passed. For a while, I did not know what I was going to do. My community, my neighbors showed up for me when I needed it most. They helped me clean up, piece by piece, and reminded me what real community looks like—people helping people, no questions asked.

After hurricane Helene ravaged my community, I knew I wanted to give back. But I also saw something that didn’t sit right with me. Too many companies were taking advantage of folks who were already down. Companies were charging outrageous prices for dumpsters. I wanted to be different.

So, I left my sales job and started Big Daddy’s Dumpsters—or as most people around here know it, Big Daddy’s Dumpsters. I built this business to serve my neighbors the way they served me—with honesty, fairness, and heart.

For me, this isn’t just about renting dumpsters or removing junk. It’s about helping people get back on their feet, making tough times a little easier, and being a reliable hand when someone needs it.
When I’m not running the business, you’ll probably find me at the ballfield sponsoring our local Little League, volunteering at my church, or helping out around town. My community means everything to me, and I’m proud to give back to the community that gave me so much.
